Thanks for your comments, Philip and welcome to my member's page. I did wonder about the 1950s stationary engine as I couldn't find any info about it. Glad you like the beam engine. Hope you drop by again

Very nice site John, i believe the half beam you own is similar to a Cotswold Heritage Aquarius which is one of the flagship models of their 'premier range', yours could be a prototype by the looks of it, i think 1950's stationary engine you have is either a Toytown or Harboro Flyer.

Nice pics John, a nice collection of engines too. Your second pic of the static engines is the exact one I had as a kid, I had a steam hammer and steam press to go with it too. All long since gone now I'm afraid.
